WHAT Our DESIGN

SERVICE Offers

We start with an informal chat and complete a survey of questions regarding your aspirations and then decide on a package of outcome options that will suit you. From this information we would provide you with a quote and

 you can decide if you would like to proceed. No project is ever considered too big or too small; we are happy to discuss any project you have in mind. You can choose any or a combination of the following options:

Colour consultancy of fresh ideas with colour chord for consideration

Window treatment designs and specifications with full illustrated calculations and instructions

Survey and measuring of spaces to work with (or you can provide us with this information) for consideration

The production of any window treatments if required with agreed fabrics

Sections to show detail of construction within areas of the space

Working drawings to scale to help build bespoke furniture or fittings

Concept board with samples of suggested styles, colours and textiles.

CAD scaled plans of new layouts, new lighting, new electrical arrangements etc

Virtual CGI images to project how the proposal will look in reality

Sample board of actual samples of colours, textiles, new furniture and products with specification sheet  of all products and suppliers.

Photo realistic images to project how the proposal will look in reality. 

HOW Does THE DESIGN

SERVICE Work?

We are a consultancy service, we can work with you predominantly remotely, but you are welcome to visit us in person in our Bury St Edmunds studio, or discuss matters via phone and post if that suits you better. We work from dimensions of the space, photos, and a detailed understanding of your aspirations; we then respond with the offer of a design proposal toward  an exciting new interior design solution. We  put together a design package for you, according to the service you decide you want. Where products and finishes within a design are required, we put together detailed specification list of suppliers and products as your “shopping list”.

How many mistakes have people made buying the wrong colour paint/getting the flooring wrong/ getting furniture that is far too  big/ styles that clash/ordering bespoke expensive window treatments that simply don’t look right at that window? We could go on and on. By employing and engaging with Interior Design professionals to ensure that products will look right together and provide a scheme that will work and suit your project could save you £100s if not £1000s, in some instances, and much wasted time and effort. So, instead of an expensive error, you could pay a fraction of that to employ us as to provide a professional design inspired by yourself, to be proud of. All designs will be totally unique and tailor made.

What ARE THE STEPS?

Phone Call

Initial telephone call of interest to establish whether you want our services.

02/

Questionnaire

You will then fill out a questionnaire and provide us with basic dimensions as instructed, and send us some photos of the existing space. (We can survey and take photos of the rooms ourselves within a 10 mile radius of our Bury St Edmunds studio, at no extra charge. Further distances may be possible but will require a negotiated fee for time and travel)

03/

Consultation

A telephone or one to one consultation in

our studio, or in your home (within a 10 mile

radius of Bury St Edmunds).

04/

Choose a Service

We then work with the services you have chosen from our options, to an agreed “package”, and realistic time scale. Each package that is agreed requires 50% deposit of the quote on order.

Any Questions feel free to ask

We are naturally happy to discuss any queries you ay have within the time frame of the

project.

06/

Interim Discussion

We will have an interim discussion about the initial concept and sample board before we make final decisions.

 

07/

Final Design

Concept

Final design packages can be sent via post  or available for collection on final, full payment, in a portfolio.

WHAT IS OUR Obligation  TO You?

Once you have placed your order with your deposit  and we have all the relevant information about the project from you, we will work tirelessly within an agreed time frame to produce the package you requested. It is our desire to fulfil your requirements and give you a design that you aspire to. Where requested we will  give you a specification sheet that acts as your “shopping list” with products, suppliers and fitters, so that

you can then take control and put the scheme together yourself in a time scale that suits you and your budget. If you want help with the supply and installation , we can provide project management at a negotiated fee. Once the project proposal has been accepted, and fully paid for, our contract with you on that specific work load terminates. Any further services will require a new order.
